ALAMIN AI LLC ("ALAMIN", "we", "our", or "us") operates the ALAMIN AI platform accessible at alamin-ai.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use our platform. By accessing or using ALAMIN, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account or workspace, we collect your name, work email address, job title, and organization details.
Usage Data: We automatically collect information about how you interact with our platform, including pages visited, features used, session duration, and in-platform actions.
Performance Data: Data you enter into ALAMIN—such as KPIs, objectives, OKRs, tasks, department structures, and strategic goals—is stored to deliver the service.
Communications: If you contact us for support or to request a demo, we collect the content of those communications.
Technical Data: We collect IP address, browser type, device identifiers, and log data for security and operational purposes.

2. How We Use Your Information

Deliver, maintain, and improve the ALAMIN platform and its AI agents.
Authenticate users and enforce workspace access controls.
Generate AI-driven insights, recommendations, and reports based on your organization's data.
Send transactional emails such as account confirmations, password resets, and system notifications.
Respond to support requests and demo inquiries.
Monitor platform health, detect abuse, and ensure security.
Comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

Service Providers: We share data with trusted third-party vendors who help us operate the platform (e.g., cloud infrastructure, email delivery, analytics). These parties process data only on our behalf under contractual confidentiality obligations.
AI Model Providers: Query data sent to AI agents may be processed by third-party large-language-model providers under data-processing agreements that prohibit training on your data.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required by applicable law, court order, or governmental authority.
Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your data may transfer to the successor entity.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

4. Data Security

ALAMIN is built with enterprise-grade security controls. Organization data is tenant-isolated, meaning each workspace's data is logically separated from other organizations.
We use Supabase Row-Level Security (RLS) to enforce access boundaries at the database layer. Sensitive credentials and API keys are stored server-side only and never exposed in client bundles or browser sessions.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel and protected by multi-factor authentication.
Despite these measures, no system is completely secure. We encourage you to use strong passwords and report any suspected security issues to security@alamin-ai.com.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law or legitimate business purposes (e.g., billing records).
Performance data (KPIs, objectives, reports) entered by your organization is retained for the life of the subscription and deleted upon account termination per your request.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal exceptions.
Portability: Request an export of your data in a machine-readable format.

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential cookies to operate authentication sessions and remember user preferences (such as language selection). We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We use Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights for anonymous, aggregated performance monitoring. This data does not identify individual users.

8. International Data Transfers

ALAMIN AI LLC is headquartered in Saudi Arabia and operates infrastructure through international cloud providers. Your data may be processed in regions outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate transfer mechanisms (e.g., standard contractual clauses) to ensure your data receives adequate protection.

9. Children's Privacy

ALAMIN is a B2B platform designed for business use. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18 years of age. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal data, we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or an in-platform notice at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of ALAMIN after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
